The ENOS Advantage

The No.1 Rescue System for Divers Worldwide

NRC ENOS system advantage – key benefit 1

ENOS and MOBOS have safely located lost or drifting divers for over two decades. Trusted globally since 2004, the system provides electronic emergency calls and precise GPS positioning, even in strong currents or challenging conditions.

Safety On and In The Water

NRC ENOS system advantage – key benefit 2

The ENOS system enables instant, onboard rescue from your own boat without needing SAR teams, emergency frequencies, or special licenses. It operates independently of GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress Safety System), with no subscriptions or radio certifications (SRC) required.

FAQs about ENOS

What dive centres, liveaboards and safety officers ask before putting ENOS on board.

ENOS is a GPS-based diver location and rescue system that lets a boat crew find a surfaced diver who has drifted out of sight. The diver carries an ENOS transmitter; once it reaches the surface, it sends its GPS position by radio to the ENOS receiver on the vessel, which displays the diver's exact distance and heading from the boat. It has been in service since 2004 and is used by dive centres, liveaboards, coast guards and military units in over 35 countries.
