The ENOS receiver ERX-BT-I is a portable ENOS unit equipped with a tablet as a mobile display. It reliably receives emergency calls from drifting divers, evaluates them, and forwards the data to the tablet via Bluetooth.
The I-Version allows the connection of an external GPS antenna for use indoors.
ENOS Screen Overview:
- User-friendly display, easy to understand even under stress, no navigation knowledge required
- The + in the center of the circle represents the ship; the arrow at the top shows the direction of travel
- Numbers (1, 2, etc.) display drifting divers in relation to the boat, ordered by call arrival time
- The circle radius automatically adjusts to the furthest distress call
Table Information Displayed:
- Number of received emergency calls (No)
- Identifier/ID of the transmitter
- Distance to divers
- Direction to divers
Ship Details (top right of the screen):
- Date, time, speed, and course
- Validity of GPS information and number of GPS satellites connected (one green bar per satellite, e.g., 8 satellites)
- Battery icon showing charging status (e.g., 97%)
Security Feature:
Every ENOS receiver processes all ENOS emergency calls within its reception radius, even from “foreign” divers from other boats. This ensures that the receiver provides all data necessary for a quick and effective rescue. In this way, all ENOS-equipped boats can coordinate and support search and rescue operations.
Unique Worldwide Functionality:
ENOS is the only diver rescue system worldwide capable of receiving multiple GPS-assisted emergency calls simultaneously, evaluating them, and displaying them clearly on the screen.
