Nano HP15-TRIMIX Compressor

Compact. Oil-free. Water-cooled. Now with Trimix capability.

The Nano HP15-TRIMIX extends the capabilities of the Nano HP15 with an external gas inlet for compressing premixed Trimix and other compatible breathing gas mixtures with an oxygen content of up to 40%.

Designed for filling small cylinders, this compact, oil-free, water-cooled high-pressure compressor delivers 15 litres per minute at a noise level of just 65 dBA.

A selectable inlet allows operation with either ambient air or an external breathing gas supply connected through the front inflator port.

Equipped with automatic final-pressure shut-off, an hour meter and a replaceable breathing air filter cartridge, the Nano HP15-TRIMIX fills to a maximum pressure of 200 bar / 2900 PSI.

The compressor can be operated from a 110 V, 220 V or 12 V power supply. A filling hose with a quick coupling for direct connection to your Sailair cylinder is included.

Two Selectable Inlet Modes

Ambient Air Mode

The compressor draws in surrounding air and operates like the standard Nano HP15.

External Gas Mode — Inflator Port

The compressor draws premixed breathing gas from an external cylinder through the front inflator port. This allows remaining gas, to be transferred and compressed into a receiving cylinder.

Maximum oxygen content: 40%

The Nano HP15-TRIMIX compresses an existing gas mixture; it does not blend a new mixture.

How External Gas Operation Works

A diving regulator is connected to the supply cylinder. Its inflator hose connects to the inflator port on the front of the Nano HP15-TRIMIX, supplying gas at an intermediate pressure of approximately 10 bar.

The compressor’s inlet pressure regulator reduces this pressure to 2 bar. The setting must be checked and adjusted to 2 bar if necessary.

The gas then passes through the flow monitoring device, which must be set to 15 litres per minute, before entering the compressor.

The water-cooled compressor compresses the supplied gas to a maximum pressure of 200 bar / 2900 PSI and switches off automatically when the final filling pressure is reached.

Before filling, set the inlet selector ball valve to the required source:

  • Inflator Port: for an external premixed breathing gas supply.
  • Ambient Air: for standard air filling.

The supply cylinder and regulator must maintain the required inlet pressure and gas flow throughout filling.

Nano HP15 Filter Cartridge — Order No. 1998

Filtration for Ambient Air Operation

The replaceable Nano HP15 filter cartridge removes moisture and contaminants from compressed air during ambient air operation.

Its capacity and service life depend on ambient temperature and operating conditions. The tables below support maintenance planning for Ambient Air Mode only.

These filter capacity and service life tables do not apply to Trimix operation using an external gas supply, as the supplied gas must already meet breathing gas quality requirements before entering the compressor.
